Obituary of Placido Manuel Herrera

Placido Manuel Herrera, 71, of Greeley, passed away on October 26, 2021 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Tiofilo Herrera and Josephine Estrada on November 12, 1949 in Boone, Colorado. Manuel enjoyed woodworking and making decorations for his home, riding his bike, fishing and listening to oldies. Manuel is survived by his wife, Virg Herrera; son, Dusty Lawson, granddaughter Talia Arroyo (Geraldo), Sibilings Pauline Hernandez (Ben), Frances Leuhring (Dennis), Theodore Herrera (Angela), Jessie Perales (Raul), Viola Dangler (Jim), Rose Lopez (Joe), Kathy Briggs (Robert), Becky Navarette (Paul), Alfred Herrera (Tammy), Gloria Stauffer (Scott) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sisters Catherine Louise, Josephine Marie and parents. He will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm followed by The Recitation of the Rosary, Monday, November 8, 2021 at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Life Celebration Service at 11 am, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace, Greeley.
