Obituary of Raul Cavazos

Raul "Ralph” Cavazos, 55, of Greeley, passed away on November 1, 2021 at UC Health in Greeley with his siblings, Ruben, Veronica & Maria by his side. He was born to Ruben Cavazos Sr. and Florentina (Duran) Cavazos on October 31, 1966 in Toledo, OH. Ralph worked for Owens-Illinois (O/I) in Windsor as a forklift operator for the past 16 years. Prior to that he worked for Gold Aluminum for 13 years. When his friends and family would get together, he was always the life of the party. He would often make sure everyone was having a good time. He enjoyed smoking ribs, cheering for the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. His passion was for his horses and dogs; he cared for them as if they were his children. He was a Texan at heart and his dream was to move back to Texas and live on a ranch with his horses and Miss Texas. Ralph was a simple man with a heart of gold! He was loved and gave love ten times fold. He was an uncle to only 4 boys, but he was UNCLE Ralph to everyone! Ralph is survived by his siblings, Ruben Cavazos and wife Suzie, Veronica Cavazos-Hernandez and husband Ruben Hernandez, and Maria Cavazos, all of Greeley; his nieces and nephews, Joshua and Brandon Cavazos and Antonio and John Hernandez; and his great-niece and nephew Edryk and Avyella Cavazos. He is preceded in death by sister Josefina "Josie” Moyano and his nephew Christopher Joe Moyano, his parents Florentina and Ruben Cavazos, Sr. Life Celebration Service at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Adamson Life Celebration Home in Greeley.
