Obituary of Enrique "Henry" Puente-Gonzalez

Enrique "Henry” Puente-Gonzalez, Jr., 75, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away December 8, 2021 at his home. He was born July 23, 1946 in Anahuac, Mexico to Enrique Puente, Sr. And Jesusa Reyes Gonzalez Puente. The family moved to the Texas area where he attended school. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Enrique had worked for Monfort for many years and for Video Accessory Corporation in Boulder for 5 years. He enjoyed reading, exercising, fishing, football and was a Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan, and enjoyed watching Westerns on TV. He is survived by his children, Demetrio Puente, Amalia Streeter, and Theodora Puente; his siblings, Marcos Puente of Friends Wood, Texas, Agustin Puente and wife Agustina of Windsor, Virginia Morales of Evans, Victoria Puente of Fort Collins, Jane Apodaca of Longmont, Yolanda Gonzales and husband George of Greeley, Jose Reyes of Arizona, and Jesus Reyes of Greeley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Simon Reyes, Miguel Puente, Cecilia Puente, Adelia Puente, and Juanita Reyes and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
