Obituary of David L. Rodriquez

David Lopez Rodriquez, 54, of Greeley passed away at his home on December 31, 2021. He was born November 9, 1967 in Stanton, TX to Cleofas and Beatrice (Lopez) Rodriquez and the family moved to Greeley in 1967. David met Cheryl Renee Lopez in 1997 and they were married on April 3, 2003. He worked for Growling Bear Construction and Tharp Cabinet and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed fishing, detailing his vehicles, was artistic but most enjoyed time with family, especially the grandkids. He loved his little chihuahua, Esme. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, daughters; Mikayla and April Rodriquez, Jazlyn Martinez, stepchildren; Joshua Lopez, Leroy and Clarissa Calderon, four grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, his mother, Beatrice Rodriquez, siblings; Maria Munoz, Juanita, Pete, Mark and Casimiro Rodriquez and nieces and nephews, including Jessica Rodriquez. He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers; Junior and Simon Rodriquez. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary 6 p.m. Thursday, January 6 at Adamson. Life Celebration 2 p.m. Friday at Adamson with a reception to follow. Cremation will follow services with burial at the Evans Cemetery at a later date.
