Obituary of Andres "Andy" Perea

Andy Ronald Perea, 65 of Greeley, passed away January 5, 2022 at his home. He was born July 15, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Arsenio Perea and Augustina Sanchez. He grew up in New Mexico and moved to Greeley in 1983. Andy married Sara Rivera in 2000. He worked as an inspector for USDA for 17 years. Prior to that he and worked at JBS. He loved fishing, gambling (especially poker), traveling, his Dodge Ram pickup, the Broncos and he loved to cook Thanksgiving dinner and green chili. Andy is survived by his wife Sara Perea of Greeley, his daughter, Andrea Lucero of Greeley, his stepchildren, Delores Windom of Aurora, Carlos Campos of Washington , Belen Nuno, Mayra Nuno, Nohelly Nuno, Christian Nuno, and Rupen Nuno all of Greeley; his siblings, Benita Silva, Virginia Perea, Mary Villezcas, Jerry Perea, Ernest Madrid, Ida Fierro and Antonio Fierro all of Nevada; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and grandmother Domitila and brothers Arsenio Perea and Herman Perea, Sister Rosa Perea. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at Adamson Life Celebration Home.
