Obituary of Jose Seberiano Olivas

Jose Sebriano Olivas, jr., of Aurora, Colorado, died unexpectedly on January 4, 2022. Jose was born on October 1, 1960, to Jose sr. and Elvira Olivas. He graduated in 1978 from Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colorado and immediately enlisted in the Navy. After 20 years of service, he retired from active duty but continued to work for the Navy in a civil service position. He was extremely proud of his years that he served his country. Jose was a lifelong bronco fan and stuck with his team through good seasons and bad! He discovered a love for fishing and hunting and even received a Master Angler Award for catching the 2nd largest catfish on record in Lake McConaughy in Ogallalla, Nebraska. He proudly displays his first set of deer antlers on his living room wall. He loved watching reruns of 1970 and 80s TV shows and rain or shine, you could always find him in his garage. Jose is survived by his three boys, Taylor Olivas, Connor Olivas, and Evan Olivas; his former spouse Sandy Adair (Phillip); parents Jose Sr and Elvira Olivas; sisters Mary Santistevan (Glen), Olivia Olivas, and Guille Farnham (Greg). And his wonderful friend Dave King. He preceded in death by his brother Tom. He loved his family and friends very much.
