Obituary of Jack Bayles Lowe

Jack "Buck” Bayles Lowe, 78, of Greeley, passed away on January 8, 2022. He was born August 17, 1943 in Miami, FL to Carl Bayles and Rachel Julia (Day) Lowe where he grew up and attended school. On April 10, 1965 he married Claudette Anne Delaney at St. Mary Catholic Church in Key West, FL. In 1980, they moved to Greeley to pursue a better life and later returned to Clearwater, FL to take of his mother for the next 13 years. After she passed away, they returned to Greeley to be near their family. In their early years of marriage, he owned and operated a paint store, was a fish thrower, worked in construction and later in sales for Sears, Montgomery Ward where he served as manager of automotive, later for Albertson’s and King Soopers, retiring in 2008. Buck was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, was a 4th Degree Knight, participated with and supported organizations that were pro-life, which were very important to him. Thankful to have shared his life include his wife, Claudette, their children; J.C. Lowe (Kimberly Granger) and Delanie (Brent) Spaur, four grandchildren; Josh (Annie) Voyles, Tynnette (Richard) Surratt, Halie (Chad) Tolton and Gavin Spaur, three great-grandchildren; Callie, Braelynn and Cambree as well as his sister, Carol (Dennis) Cain. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Recitation of the Rosary will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the Adamson Reception Center, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Private family inurnment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
