Obituary of Wilma Rivera

Wilma Rivera, 76, of Evans, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022 in Evans, Colorado. She was born to Melex and Sarafina (Chavez) Mascarenas on June 25, 1945 in Boone, Colorado.

She attended and graduated from Pueblo schools before moving to Northern Colorado.

Wilma enjoyed working on her word puzzles and word search books. She was a huge Denver Bronco fan and attended training camps as often as she could. Above all, she loved and adored her family.

She is survived by her children, Regina (Raymond) Liscano and Ben Rivera (Lorraine Ramos); grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Ororna, Cassandra Calderon, Isiah Lascano, Hope Archibeque and Anastacia Archibeque; great grandchildren, Isabel, Natilee, Matthew, Ilianah and Rebecca; brother, Leo (Ercy) Mascarenas.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Services will be held at 5 pm, February 11, 2022 at Mosaic Church, 3451 23^rd Avenue in Evans. Reception will follow. Burial will occur at a later date in Pueblo, Colorado.
