Obituary of Ann Logan
Nina Ann Logan, 76, of Greeley passed away on February 9, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Holyoke, surrounded by her family. She was born September 6, 1945 in Canon City, Colorado to Robert and Beatrice (Ford) Kite where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1963. She attended Cosmetology School in Colorado Springs, obtaining her cosmetology license.
On August 7, 1966 she married John Harvey Logan in Colorado Springs. They moved to Grand Junction then Roggen before settling in Gilcrest. When the house and yard became too much they moved to Greeley.
She began working for RE-1 School District in 1978 as a Classroom Aid for two years and then as the Health Room Aid until her retirement in 2003.
Ann loved to read, go camping, flower gardening, playing board and card games and the Colorado mountains.
She enjoyed attending her grandkids events and time with her family and friends as well as “Grandma Day” for each of the grandkids’ birthdays.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Red Hat Society, and the Four-Way Baptist Church in Fort Lupton.
Survivors include her daughters; Debbie (Kerry) Trupp and Dianna (Ryan) Vermeulen, eight grandchildren; Justin, Kirstie, Ben, Savannah, Hunter, Kaylyn, Tyler and Joshua, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her dearly loved cousin, MaryAnn Paulsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Jim Kite.
Ann’s Life Celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at Adamson Life Celebration Home with a reception to follow. Memorial gifts may be made to “Hospice of the Plains” in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Friends may leave condolences at AdamsonCares.com.
