Obituary of Corry Lieby

Corry Lieby, 46, of Greeley, passed away on March 28, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Rodney and Sharon (Gamble) Lieby on March 29, 1975 in Greeley, Colorado. He lived in Greeley most of his life.

Corry graduated from Greeley West High School in 1993 where he enjoyed being on the swim team and participating in theatre. He was an avid reader especially of fantasy books. He had many talents such as singing (in his theatre productions at school and in church), being a talented artist especially pencil drawings, writing fiction stories and creating his own board games. He was an excellent and avid player of scrabble and more recent online game called Wordle.  He loved spending time with his family and friends. Recently he enjoyed listening to podcasts especially about politics, Apologetics (defense of Christianity) and astrophysics.

He grew up attending Mountain View Evangelical Free Church where he earned the highest award (Timothy Award) in the AWANA clubs. In his adult years, he occasionally attended Christ Community Church. Because of his love of people and his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, he discussed his faith throughout the years with many people.  He will be remembered for his gentle humor and love of conversation with others and for his kind and fun loving nature.               

He is survived by his children, Erik Edwards of LA, California and Makayla Reimers in Loveland, Colorado, his parents and sister, Kendra Lieby. Corry was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Life Celebration memorial will be held at 1 pm, Friday April, 29, 2022 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley. To leave condolences for Corry’s family, www.adamsoncares.com
