Obituary of Jesse J. Rodriguez

Jesse James Rodriguez, Jim, 71, of Greeley, passed away on April 8, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Jessie and Gertrude (Martinez) Rodriguez on July 3, 1950 in Greeley, Colorado however he grew up in Eaton, Co.

Jim loved being outside and being around family. It brought him joy to be around people and make them laugh and smile. He enjoyed going to the flea markets, listening to music, testing his luck on lottery tickets and going to Central City every chance he could. He took great pride in his work and he even owned Rodriguez Concrete. He will be deeply missed by all.

Jim is survived by his wife, Lena; children, James (Tricia) Andrade, Jimmie Cordova, Jaime, Erica Castro, and Jessica Rodriguez; grandkids, Trinity, Jocelyn and Cynthia Andrade, Micayla and Anthony Castro, Jovan Araujo Perez, Aaliyah and Zadrian Rodriguez; first wife, Cindy Rodriguez; siblings, Steve (Frances) Rodriguez, Ruben (Margie) Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Anthony (Julie) Rodriguez, Lena (Manuel) Elizalde, Violet Jane, Pearl (Bill) Alter many nieces, nephews and friends.

Special thanks to his wife Lena, son Jimmie Cordova and granddaughter Micayla Castro for taking care of Jim, especially towards the end of his life. The family will be forever grateful.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leonard, Daniel, Chris, and Stella.

Life Celebration Memorial will be held at 2 pm, Monday, April 18, 2022 at Unity of Christ, 1501 5^th Street in Greeley.
