Obituary of Floyd Elmer Rupple, Sr.

Floyd Elmer Rupple, Sr., 90, of Greeley passed away Monday, April 11, 2022. He was born February 28, 1932, in Johnstown, Colorado to George and Pauline (Eckhardt) Rupple.  Floyd grew up in the Johnstown area.  He served in the U.S Army during the Korean War.  He married Mary McNeil on October 2, 1955.  Floyd worked for Hensel Phelps Construction and Lawrence Construction for over 40 years.  Floyd enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Merry Mixers and the “O” 85 Mobile Squares.

He is survived by his daughter Dee Kayl and husband Greg of Greeley, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son Floyd Rupple, Jr., and his siblings; Betty Houkom, Viola Frei, and Harold Eckhardt.

Visitation will be 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Adamson Life Celebration Home.  Graveside service 10:00a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
