Obituary of CHRISTIE NOEL NACY

Christie Noel Nacy, 48, of Greeley, passed away on July 1, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born to Dr. Robert and Nancy (Wolffe) Begin on January 9, 1974 in Howell, Michigan.

She attended and graduated Brighton High School in Brighton, Michigan in 1992. After high school, Christie attended Michigan State University where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in 1996. She later attended Indiana Wesleyan University, where she received her master's degree in 2005.

She met and later married the love of her life, Ian Nacy on December 13, 1996 in Brighton, Michigan.

Christie enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with her family. Her kids were her pride and joy.  Her love for God and his word anchored her life.  Christie's life was not her own; she lived for her Saviour and always put others first, even to the point where she donated her organs and tissue through the Donor Alliance.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her or who were touched by her.  

She is survived by her husband, Ian Nacy; children, Christian Nacy (Natalie Nothdurft) and Anna Nacy; father, Dr. Robert Begin; and sister, Carrie (Michael) Guter and many other friends and extended family.

Christie was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Begin.

Celebration of life memorial will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Generations Church in Greeley. There will a social gathering following the service at Generations Church.
