Obituary of Doug Angell

Douglas D. Angell, 77, of Greeley, passed away July 21, 2022 at his home.  He was born October 31, 1944 in Lansing, Michigan to Bruce E. and Pauline Pearl (Christy) Angell.  Doug grew up in Bath, Michigan and graduated from Eastern High School in 1962.  He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.  Doug received his Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and went on to be a Pastor in Wyoming and Missouri.  He had also worked for a time as a Police Officer in Michigan.  Most recently he worked for RV America as an RV Salesman.  He attended Summitview Community Church and was a member of the American Motorcyclist Association.  Doug loved motorcycles.  He also enjoyed hiking and camping. He had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel the world.
Doug is survived by his daughters, Katherine Angell-Dillen, Natalie Angell, and Susan Garcia and husband Roy all of Greeley; his brother Bruce Angell II, and wife Virginia of Bath, Michigan; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Tandy Dillen II, brother, Ron Cross, and sister, Colleen Angell.
A Life Celebration will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 4:00p.m. at Summitview Community Church 801 37th St Evans, Co.  Memorial contributions may be made to Greeley Family House.
