Beverly Leffler

Obituary of Beverly Jean Leffler

Beverly Jean Leffler, 91, of Greeley was called home by her heavenly father on 8/2/2022. Beverly was born to Paul Anton Gorce and Bertha Jane (Beasley) Gorce on 6/5/1931 in Erie, Co. where she spent most of her childhood. They then moved to Greeley, and it was there she met the love of her life, Walter Leffler. They were married 6/10/1951 in Eaton, Co. They spent their 60th anniversary at Porter Hospital where Walter was battling cancer.  In high school Beverly worked at Adams Pharmacy, at the soda fountain and loved roller skating at Warnoco skating rink. She attended College High, high school, now known as UNC. Beverly and Walter had two daughters, Paula, and Wanda, giving her two grandsons and three great grand children. Beverly enjoyed helping people and took on odd jobs to help friends out. Beverly and Walter loved to volunteer at nursing homes by playing music and leading Bingo games for the residents. Beverly loved Bingo, polka dances, camping, gardening, reading, the Broncos and most of all her family. Her bird, Spike, was her best bud. All who knew her will miss her and her kind generosity. She is survived by her children Paula Bernhardt, Wanda Garner (Donald). Grandsons Justin Garner (Shannon), Eric Bernhardt (Tara). Great grandchildren Jenna Garner, Ashlyn Garner and Dillon Bernhardt. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Walter, sister Shirley Loeffler, brother Paul Gerald and son-in-law Donald Bernhardt.
