Obituary of Melissa Ann Perez Esquibel

Melissa Ann Perez Esquibel, 49 of Greeley Colorado unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2022. Melissa was born January 20, 1973, in Denver, CO to Martin and Rosemary (Preciado) Perez. Melissa grew up in Greeley attending Greeley Central High School and worked in Health Care.

Although Melissa faced many challenges in her life, she always kept a positive attitude. Melissa was the life of the party; she loved to laugh and be surrounded by her family and friends. Melissa enjoyed family BBQ’s watching Netflix and spending time with her grandchildren. Melissa was a longtime Bronco Fan and loved listening to music.

Melissa is survived by Ruben Cervantes, the love of her life, her children Desiree Perez and Ronnie Esquibel both of Greeley. Grandchildren Izayah, Izabella, Amiyah, and Avianah. Siblings Christina (David) Salazar of Evans and Richard Mata of Greeley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Melissa had numerous nieces and nephews and cousins she loved dearly. Close friends Joey and Nicole Granados, Diane Rizo, Frank Palomino, Sabra Cordova, and Sara Blosz.

Her beautiful smile will be missed. A celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday August 18, 2022, at Mosaic Church 3451 23^rd Ave Evans, CO.
