Obituary of Raymond Lee Helton

Raymond Lee Helton, 86, of Greeley, passed away September 11, 2022, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.  He was born on April 26, 1936, in Greeley, to Abram and Ruth (Hoff) Helton.  He grew up and attended school in Greeley.  In May of 1955, he married Louise Marie Hafelfinger.  They later divorced.  In the ‘80’s he married Linda Ferguson.  He worked as a butcher for most of his career and volunteered for The Greeley Stampede.

Raymond is survived by his children, Doug Helton of Libby, Montana, and Ruth Ann Helton of Twin Falls, Idaho; his granddaughter, Evelyn Fowler, her husband Will, and Raymond’s great-grandson, Levi, of Twin Falls, Idaho; and his sisters, Myrtle  Ludlow of Laramie, Wyoming, and Lou Tucker of Greeley.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, his daughter Sheryl Broad, and numerous siblings.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation will take place.
