Obituary of Anthony William Gallegos

Anthony William “Billy” Gallegos, 65 years old, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Friday, October 7th, 2022. He was born on June 17th, 1957, to William and Mary (Martinez) Gallegos in Denver, CO.

Billy grew up in the Greeley area and graduated from Central High School in 1975. Soon after, Billy joined the United States Marine Corp and served in Okinawa and California. When he returned home, he began his career in construction and was employed by Andrade Construction for 15 years.

In his younger years Billy enjoyed going on camping trips to Red Feather Lakes with his parents and his siblings. Red Feather Lakes became one of his favorite spots to fish in. Billy loved to watch sports and would always cheer on the Denver Broncos, The CO Rockies, and The Avalanches. He loved secondhand shopping and would take his nieces and nephews along.

Billy was a member of the First Christian Church in Greeley, CO.

He is survived by his siblings; Margaret Esquibel of Greeley, Debbie DeLuca (Bob) of Milwaukee, Max Gallegos (Olivia Hernandez) of Greeley, Arthur Gallegos of Greeley, Joe Gallegos (Alivia) of Lafayette, Paul Rivera of Greeley, Gloria Gallegos of Greeley, and Christina Archibeque of Greeley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Gallegos.

A Life Celebration Memorial will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, at Adamson Life Celebration Home.
