Obituary of Steve R. Throop

Steve R. “Stevie” Throop, 56, of Denver, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado.  He was born February 12, 1966 in Denver to Charles and Clo Ann (Duncanson) Throop.  Steve grew up in East Lake and graduated from Thornton High School in 1985.  He worked for Coors Tech Ceramics for 32 years.  He loved dogs and was and avid hunter and fisherman.

Steve is survived by his mother, Clo Ann Throop of East Lake, Colorado; his children, Nicole Starr and husband Clay Tracy of Denver and Brandon Roe of Ridgecrest, CA; his sister Cindy Henkle and husband David of Kentucky; and his beloved dog, Kota.  He was preceded in death by his father.

There will be an open house celebration in his honor on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Lucero Ranch, 40041 E. 88^th Ave., Bennett, CO  80102.
