Obituary of Don Walker

Donald L. Walker, 92, of Greeley passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at UC Health in Greeley.  Don was born January 15, 1930 in Denver, CO to Elmer and Ethel (Roberts) Walker.  He grew up in Greeley.  Don served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  He married Bernice Honstein on June 26, 1953 in Greeley.  Don worked for the Colorado Department of Transportation  for 33 years and then worked for Weld County Road and Bridge for 9 years.  He enjoyed his family and watching the Denver Bronco’s.

Don is survived by his daughters, Cindy Dyer and husband Cal of Eaton and Diana Walker of Evans; his grandsons, Chad Dyer and wife Tara of LaSalle and Clint Dyer and companion Braden Wilkes of Mason City, NE; and 5 great-grandchildren.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife, and his siblings Norma Miller and Bob Walker.

A graveside service will be held  1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Linn Grove Cemetery.
