Obituary of Ferne Umberger

Ferne Aline Umberger, 81, of Greeley, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at UC Health in Greeley.   She was born August 25, 1941 in Kansas to Floyd Albert and Mildred Ruth (Comfort) Rudy.  She grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley High School in 1959.  She worked for 38 years at the State Farm Regional Office.  Ferne is survived by her nephews, Michael Barker of Greeley, Kevin Barker of Brooks, GA, and Marc Barker of Fort Collins and her great nieces and nephews; Jason Barker of Wichita, KS, Sirena Wall of Greeley, Kaci Barker of Brooks, GA, Jacob Barker of Fort Collins and Jackson Barker of Fort Collins.  She was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings Harold Wayne Rudy and Letha Darlene Engel.  A private interment will be held at Eaton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Church in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 W. 47^th Ave., Greeley, CO  80634.
