Obituary of Dixie Fagerberg

Dixie Marlene (Caton) Fagerberg of Ault, Colorado passed away November 27, 2022. Dixie was born to Franklin Clarence Caton and June Rose (Siglinger) Caton in Baird, Nebraska, August 9, 1935. The family moved to Eaton, Colorado in 1943, later moving to Ault, Colorado where Dixie graduated as an Ault Bearcat in 1953. After retiring from Walmart, Dixie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending Eagles Hockey games, watching sports, putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading, camping, going to the lake, vacationing in Jamaica, Mexico, New York, Canada, and Florida. Dixie’s six children survive her, Franklin (Kim) Haywood of Yuba City, California, Alan (Vickie) Haywood of St. Augustine, Florida, Malinda Ducharme of Broomfield, Colorado, Diane (Mike) Neuerburg of Ault, Colorado, David Lieuallen of Eaton, Colorado and Roxi Allen of Eaton, Colorado. She is also survived by grandchildren, Johnathon Jarman, Wade Lieuallen, Kyle (Rebecca) Lieuallen, Ashley Leaf, Erin (Steve) Nichols, Cassie (Jason) Sheneman, Briceson (Aaron) Ducharme, and Desiree Ducharme. Great grandchildren LeAnne Leaf and Christopher Titus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dixie is preceded in death by her parents, sister Darlene Simpson, brother-in-law Gary Simpson, brother Dutch Caton, grandson Adam Leaf, daughter-in-law Peggy (Harris) Lieuallen, and nephew John Caton.
