Obituary of Barbara H. Bailey

Barbara H. Bailey, 77, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022.  She was born August 24, 1945 in Oak Park, Illinois to Ward and June (Greer) Hanson.  She grew up in Arden Hills, Minnesota where she graduated from Mounds View High School in 1963.  She then received her Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Minnesota, completing the program in just three years.   She then moved to Colorado, where she worked for Dr. Curley, D.D.S., who introduced her to Harold.  On June 29, 1977, she married Harold E. Bailey.   Barbara had worked as a dental hygienist and was a homemaker.  She lived in Riverton, Wyoming from 1977 until 2010 when the family moved to Greeley.  She loved needle point, decorating, gardening, the family’s cats, and caring for Mandy and Harold.

She is survived by her daughter Amanda Bailey of Greeley and her brother Michael Hanson and wife Kathy of Arden Hills, Minnesota.  She was proceeded in death by her parents and her husband.

No services are planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, the Parkinson's Foundation, or the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
