Obituary of Pat Yearous

Patricia Yearous passed away on January 11, 2023. Pat, born on July 28, to Bill and Helen Weatherill and immediately added joy and laughter into this world. Pat joined an older brother, Joe and later two other brothers, Bill and Jim.

When Pat was 15 years old, she met the love of her life, Cork Yearous and the two were inseparable from that point on. Pat and Cork were married for close to 72 years, farming north of Fort Morgan and later moving to Hutchinson, KS and Loveland. During these years they added five children to their family; Dale, Corinne, Pam, Jerry and Laurel.

Pat was a very caring and dedicated mother. Family came first and was above all else to Pat. This is a value she instilled in all those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Cork; her children and their spouses; Dale (Karen), Corky (Doug), Pam (Ben), Jerry (Diane) and Laurel (Jon), grandchildren; Joe (Ashley), Phil (Joey), Whitney (Jared), Adam (Sarah), Bailey (Jonathon), Abbey (Josh), Zoe (Dylan), Matt (Sidney), Clay (Haley), Miranda, Christopher and Natalie; 17 great-grandchildren, brothers; Bill (Joyce), Jim (Bev), sister-in-law Phyllis and cousin, Don.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Helen and her older brother, Joe.

Pat’s family will host a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Church, 35 S. Colorado Blvd, Johnstown, CO.
