Obituary of Richard L Cutler

On February 5, 2023, we lost Richard Lee Cutler – a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather, and a friend. Rich was born on March 20, 1947, in Greeley, Colorado to Blaine and Florence (Rowe) Cutler. He was one of two children. He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he served as an Airman and an Air Force postal specialist. He farmed and ranched, he worked for Weld County and later retired with the Colorado Department of Transportation until he retired. Rich will be remembered for the years of love and time spent with his family and friends. He really enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and family vacations.

 In retirement Rich  vacationing with his wife, taking several cruises, vacationing in Portland, Oregon, spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His great grandchildren captivated his world. Rich was a friend to everyone he came into contact with, he never met anybody he didn’t know. Rich passed away at the Life Care Center in Greeley, Colorado. Preceded in death by his grandparents George and Laura Rowe, his mother Florence Cutler, and his brother Kenneth Cutler. He is survived by his wife Marsha Cutler, his children Rebecca Cutler of Greeley, Thomas Collins (Jessica Neville) of Boulder, Jennifer Collins (Michael Sturdy) of Eaton, Carrie Collins of Eaton, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held. A Life Celebration will be held in March. Memorial gifts may be made in Richard’s name to the “Disabled American Veterans” in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave. Greeley 80634. Condolences may be shared at AdamsonCares.com
