Jaycie Hahn

Obituary of Jaycie N. Hahn

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jaycie Nadine Hahn, 23, of Thornton, Colorado. Jaycie left this world to be with our loving God on March 13, 2023. Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on May 22,1999 to Kevin and Michelle (Zak) Hahn, Jaycie was the youngest of 4 siblings. She was a talented artist, and a lover of all animals. From her dog “Paris” to her family pet “Trigger”. Her love for animals did not stop there, cats, chickens, cattle. From the biggest animal out there to the smallest bug on the ground, she had a place in her heart for all of them. Jaycie attended Pawnee Junior-Senior High School, where she was a member of the school choir, the volleyball team, and the basketball team. She wasn’t afraid to try new things and everywhere she went people always felt a little sense of peace and comfort around her.  She graduated high school in 2018 and continued her education at Northeastern Junior College pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. Her love and passion to help educate children was the perfect career path for her, not only did she find joy and purpose in it but she was perfect for it as there was never a time when children didn’t look up to her for guidance, inspiration, love, and comfort. Anyone who knew Jaycie knew her as a sweet and gentle soul, the most kindhearted, selfless person they knew. There was never a time when she questioned whether she should help someone, she would simply be there for anyone that needed her.

Jaycie is survived by Brice and Declan Plese, daughter Clarity, her parents Kevin and Michelle (Zak) Hahn of Grover, her sister and brother-in-law, Kaylie (Hahn) and Zach Slotterback of Greeley, Her brother and sister-in-law Kelby and Danielle Hahn of Loveland, sister Kelsie (Hahn) Watts of Cheyenne, her grandmother Susan Zak of Berthoud, grandmother, Sharon Hahn of Grover and nieces and nephews (Hallie, Addyson, Kenneth, and Brock).

She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Raphael Zak of Berthoud, Grandfather Eugene Hahn of Grover and aunt Becky Hahn of Greeley.

Jaycie was a loving daughter, a beautiful sister, a sweet granddaughter, aunt, and a loyal friend but before anything she was a proud and caring mother who loved her daughter, Clarity, and Declan, with the fullest heart. Jaycie had the power to spread joy in the lives of everyone who knew her, with a simple smile. Her loving and caring heart is something that will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
