Obituary of Janet Louise Jones

Janet (Jan) Jones, 74, of Johnstown formerly of Loveland, Colorado passed away Saturday March 18, 2023 at MCR in Loveland CO. She was a loving wife, Mother, and Grandmother.

Janet is survived by her Husband of 49 + years Mike Jones, Son Brian (Tori) Jones of Carr CO., Grandson Tanner of Wellington CO., Sister Debbie (Ron) Paine, Nephew Jeff Paine of Loveland CO., and Brother Bill Stein of Loveland CO.,

Janet was preceded in death by her parents Walt and Virginia Stein of Loveland CO.

Jan graduated from Gunnison High School in 1966. She attended Western State in Gunnison. In May of 1973 Jan married Mike Jones.

Jan retired from USDA/ARS in 2009. She loved to travel, Cruise, Camp, Fish, taking wildlife photos, working with her flowers, and spending time with friends and family.

There will be a private family service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.

Donations may be made to The Diabetes Foundation in lieu of flowers.
