Obituary of Betty Ann Martin

Betty Ann Martin went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2023 at her home with family in Windsor. She was born to Joe and Saloma Farner on February 8, 1937. She was 86. Betty grew up in the Iliff area attending Keenseburg schools. She learned at an early age to work hard as she often helped raise her younger siblings.  She shared her life with 6 brothers and 5 sisters, whom she cherished.

In 1955 she married Albert R Martin and together they farmed in Windsor for many years.  In 1983 Betty attended Highland Hills Beauty Academy and soon became a salon owner and operator of Country Clips and Curls in Windsor. Her husband passed in 1985.

Betty built a very successful business, retiring at 77 years old. During her career she traveled the world and enjoyed being with her grown children and grandchildren.

Betty was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Windsor Chamber of Commerce and Questers. She taught Catechism and was a leader for Boy and Girl Scouts.

She is survived by her three children; Jerry A Martin (Cindy), Diane C Menge (Todd), and Wanda R Brunner (Brett), 7 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, parents, 1 sister, and 7 brothers.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Windsor with a reception following in the church hall; food donations go to the church hall.  Memorial gifts may be made to "WORLD VISION INTERNATIONAL", in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
