Obituary of Raena Mariah Rodriguez Martinez

Raena Mariah Rodriguez Martinez, 29, of Greeley, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023.  Raena was born February 6, 1994 in Loveland, CO to Ray Martinez and Jolene Rodriguez.  She grew up in Loveland before moving to Greeley where she attended and graduated from Northridge High School.    Raena had a huge heart and became a foster parent to help others.  She was an amazing mother to her 3 children.  She would do anything for them.  She taught them how to pray and made sure they said their prayers every night.  She was a strong independent woman.  She loved to dance and sing and was part of the Topnotch Dance Academy when she was younger. 

She is survived by her parents, Ray Martinez and wife Anabel of Greeley and Jolene Rodriguez of Greeley;  her children, Laniecia Bordeaux, Elias Bordeaux, and Zavian Rodriguez all of Greeley; her siblings, Victor Martinez and Brittany Villarreal of Greeley, Mariah Hernandez of Greeley, Roman Martinez and Jeyme Roque of Greeley, Joel Martinez and Jascinda Rios of Greeley, Sam Martinez and Nicole Martinez of Hawaii, Jovon Cruz and Analiza Marquez of Greeley, Jonah Cruz of Greeley, and Joshua Martinez of Greeley; her grandparents, Paula Alejos of Sterling, CO and Margie and Reuben Rodriguez of Greeley, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather Polo Martinez.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 3:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration Home.  A Life Celebration will be at 11:00a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Trinity Spanish Assembly of God.  Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jolene Rodriguez to be used for Raena’s children, in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 W. 47^th Ave., Greeley, CO  80634.
