Obituary of Dallas Matthew Railsback

Dallas Matthew Railsback, aged 83, passed away on April 20th, 2023, after a challenging battle with dementia and cancer.

Matt was born to Lyle and Garnet Railsback on September 27 th , 1939. After graduating from high school in 1957, Matt joined the Navy, where he met his wife, Anna Mae Railsback. They exchanged vows on February 15th, 1964, at the Methodist church in Eaton, CO, and were blessed with their daughter, Roxanne Renee Railsback (Pickford), in 1969.

Matt retired from Safeway in 2002 and spent his post-retirement years with his family and grandchildren, working on home and yard projects.

Sadly, Matt was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Garnet Railsback, and his brother Glen Railsback.

Matt is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Railsback, daughter Roxanne Pickford (James), grandchildren Samantha Daghita (Anthony) and Brennon Welch (Haley), and great-grandchildren Trae Welch, Riley Daghita, Kennedy Daghita, and Jade Welch. He is also survived by his brothers Clyde Railsback (Maria), Russ Railsback (Pat, deceased), Lyle Edward Railsback (Nancy), and Roy Railsback (Becky)
