Mae Quinonez

Obituary of Mae Trujillo Quinonez

On Wednesday April 26, 2023 Mae Trujillo Quinonez received and accepted her invitation from our heavenly Father to go home from the comfort of her earthly home surrounded by love.  Mae was born May 1, 1935 in Trinidad, Co. It was so fitting that she was born on May day as she was as beautiful as a Spring bouquet.

Mae had many successes in her 87 years of life but her most treasured was being a mother, grandmother and great grandma.  Besides serving the Lord her family meant everything to her.  She met Eusebio (Bob) Quinonez) in 1963 and married in 1974.  They have resided in Platteville, Colorado since 1967.She worked endless hours raising 8 children. Then as they grew up and left home she went to work at Monfort Portion Foods where she became a supervisor. She decided at the age 38 to get her GED and take college courses to become a health advisor. She had several cooking classes and grocery shopping education classes at our home for summer programs for kids. Then the doors of Hewlett Packard opened up in Ft Collins and Loveland and she became a supervisor at both plants, while in a position at Alpo Sento Alto church in Miliken as the secretary for 32 years. At which point she was a part of building the new church. They later became the pastors of the church. She found working for the Lord was more rewarding.

Answering the invitation from the Lord before Mae is her father Felix Trujillo, her mom Maryanne Trujillo, her son's Ernest (Bodie) Roybal wife Ramona Garcia, John (Bernie) Roybal, Edward Quinonez. Her grandchildren Chauntelle Gesick and Levi Gardner.

Waiting for the invitation is her husband Eusebio (Bob) Quinonez, Son Joseph(Marty) Roybal, Vickie Ayala, Cherie (Cha-Cha) Gardner) husband Donald Gardner. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
