Obituary of Kenneth Leroy O'Gorman Jr

Kenneth L. "Kenny" O'Gorman Jr.

Kenneth Leroy O'Gorman Jr., 36, of Evans went on to meet his Lord on October 30, 2023. Kenny was born in Abilene, TX to Kenneth Leroy O'Gorman and Kim Ann O'Gorman on August 13, 1987, and grew up in Grand Prairie, TX. At 16 years of age Kenny met his wife Dora and their journey began. Later moving themselves and their children to Colorado they married in 2011.

Kenny poured his whole heart into everything he did. In 2013 Kenny began his training in interior repair. Living very humbly Kenny started Top Notch Interiors in the back of an 1989 Jeep Cherokee, little did he know where this would take him and his young family. With great skill in his profession and a love for people Kenny excelled as a businessman. Later rebranding to Fix N Stitch he built his business on integrity and relationships, which became true friendships. Having a love and passion for interior repair he became a national trainer for the industry. He opened a shop in 2020 and became the leading interior repair company in Colorado.

With all his success he did not pride himself on anything more than being a loving and protective father and husband. At the center of his home, he filled his house with laughter and joy. Outside looking in, it may have seemed chaotic to some but for those on the inside it was a riot of laughs and love. His smile could light up any room, to know him was to love him.

Kenny was passionate about many things, being a youth teacher at Christian Growth Center of Greeley was one of them. He had a heart for young people and seeing them live for God, several of them lovingly calling him their "church Dad". He always made time to listen to them and had genuine care for what they were going through or any idea they had for class.

 He was not only passionate about the big things in life but for the small things as well. He turned everything he did into a hobby, from fishing the lakes of Texas and Colorado with his boys, to mastering the art of drinking espresso. His favorite pass times included smoking meat on his pellet grill, working on his 68' Chevy C10 and of course spending time with his family in Texas during the Christmas season.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Bob & Faye O'Gorman, Dan & Marie Elkins, and his Father-in-law Robert Rodriguez.

He is survived by wife Dora O'Gorman, children Ivan (16), Clarissa (14) and Jacob (9). His parents Kenneth O'Gorman, Kim O'Gorman, and Cannon Elkins. His brothers Matthew O'Gorman and Josh O'Gorman, grandparents Joy and O'Neal Nix and mother-in-law Dalia Deleon along with 3 brothers-in-laws, 2 sisters-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.

We will be honoring the beautiful life of Kenny on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11:00 am at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 5450 River Ranch Parkway, Johnstown, CO.
