Obituary of Janet Joann Schwartzkopf

Janet Joann Schwartzkopf, 78, of Greeley passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at North Colorado Medical Center.  She was born October 4, 1945 to Elmer and Elsa (Steinmark) Lundgren in Scottsbluff, NE.  Janet grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Bayard High School in 1963.  On June 26, 1965 she married Richard Schwartzkopf in Nebraska.  Janet worked  for State Farm for 18 years.  After retiring she went to work at Kohl’s, helping set up the store and in the Jewelry Department.  She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, fishing and adult coloring books.  Janet had a heart of gold and would do anything she could for people.

She is survived by her husband Richard of Greeley.  She was preceded by her parents, a brother Jack Lundgren and an infant brother Richard Lundgren.
