Obituary of James Patrick Stevens

James Patrick Stevens, known to his loved ones as Patrick, passed away on December 23, 2023, in Greeley, Colorado, at the age of 31. Born on December 6, 1992, in Greeley, Patrick brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around him. His unexpected departure has left a void that can never be filled, and his memory will forever be cherished.

Patrick was a clever, fun, and witty individual who had a knack for making people laugh. His unique sense of humor was one of his most endearing qualities, and those who had the pleasure of knowing him will always remember his hilarious jokes and infectious laughter. Patrick's charisma and larger-than-life personality made him truly one of a kind.

In addition to his quick wit, Patrick was also deeply caring and compassionate. He had a genuine knack for connecting with others and making them feel valued. The impact he had on the lives of those around him is immeasurable, and his absence will be felt by all who knew him.

Patrick leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is survived by his son, Wyatt James Stevens, and his siblings, Justin Compton, Tony Mullins, Bryce, and CJ Stevens, as well as his sister, Leah Brooks. Patrick's parents, Jason Stevens, Sandra Crenshaw, and Brenda Schafer along with his grandmothers, Myrna and Mary, his life coach Linda along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that also mourn his loss. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry Stevens and Alton Crenshaw, as well as his uncles, Jimmy Stevens and Larry Spencer and aunt Shelia Crenshaw.

Patrick's educational journey included attending Valley High School graduating in 2011, This is where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He wrestled and played on the football team; and enjoyed riding dirt bikes. He also made many friends in school while maintaining those relationships for the years to come. At a young age his first love (besides the girls) was his 72 Skylark and later on his big diesel pickups. Then in 2020 the new owner of his heart had arrived; his baby boy Wyatt from then on his heart wouldn't beat the same without him.
Throughout his adult life, he pursued oilfield inspection and automotive certifications for each industry. Patrick's thirst for knowledge and his dedication to personal growth were evident in his pursuit of these certifications. Everyone that worked with Patrick had willingness to learn from him and enjoyed his presence as a mentor and coworker.

A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at Greeley First Assembly of God, 3000 W 16th Street, Greeley, CO 80634 on January 11, 2024 at 11:00 am

This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together and reminisce about the wonderful person Patrick was.

Patrick's untimely passing has left a void that cannot be filled. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. May Patrick rest in eternal peace.
