Obituary of Delton Duane Duncan

Delton D. Duncan, 61, of Greeley passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at North Colorado Medical Center.  Delton was born August 9,1962 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Marvin and Arlene (Moehr) Duncan. Growing up in Nebraska, Delton worked at his dads gas station and did a number of farming jobs. He married Suszanne Liss on July 10, 1981 in Fremont, Nebraska at the age of 18. Delton relocated his family to Colorado where he worked in construction, and later went back to farming. Delton spent a large part of his life farming in Northern Colorado. He worked for Morning Fresh Dairy for 13 years and Kuhn for 17 years.  Delton enjoyed camping, fishing, grilling, football, wrestling, his truck and his tools. Delton was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and Nebraska Corn Husker, and spent every Monday and Friday night watching wrestling. He took great pride in his life as a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandchildren.

Delton is survived by his wife, Suszanne Duncan of Greeley; his daughter’s, Tiffany Holmes and husband Earl of Avondale, Arizona, Heidi Duncan of Greeley and Autumn Duncan of Phoenix, Arizona; his 10 grandchildren, Dameion Duncan, Mercedes Duncan, Halanea Duncan, Ayshia Duncan, Baldemar Armendariz, Fidel Armendariz, Lillie Miller, Madden Miller, Nova Rodriguez and Orion Rodriguez; 11 great-grandchildren; his father Marvin Duncan and wife Jane of St. Joseph, Minnesota; his sisters; Val Phifer and husband Dave of Oklahoma, Kim Hansen and husband Jim of Oklahoma.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Sweeney and brother, Curtis Duncan.

A Life Celebration is being planned for May 19, 2024.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Delton Duncan Memorial Fund in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 W. 47th Ave., Greeley, CO  80634.
