Obituary of Jimmie Douglas Chick

Jimmie Douglas Chick, 80, of Windsor passed away at his home on February 3, 2024.  He was born December 23, 1943 in Colorado Springs, CO to Guy Douglas and Ena Nancy (Holt) Chick where he grew up as a child. 

He moved to Berthoud in 1969 and married Pat Snow Gibson on February 2, 1970.  They later divorced in 1986 and he married Carol Dimmit on March 3, 1987 and she passed away on February 25, 2013.

He worked for HP and Agilent for 30 plus years before retiring in 2002.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and camping.  In his younger years he coached little league athletics in Johnstown, was a member of the VFW in Johnstown, Rocky Mountain Elk and Deer Foundation, and served as a volunteer Fire Fighter in Johnstown. 

Survivors include his children; Jeff (Norene) Chick, their seven children and 2 grandchildren, Tina Hill, her three children and six grandchildren, Jimmy (Stevie Betz) Chick and their two children and Guy Chick and his four children, seven stepchildren and their families, as well as his sister, Marilyn Hitti and four nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Rose, three nephews and 2 brothers-in-law. 

His Life Celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Adamson with a reception following.  Cremation with private family inurnment at the Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor.
